It’s a somewhat bewildering but absolutely unique experience, the makeshift open-air barbecue food-stalls at Djemaa-el-Fna square in Marrakech. Every evening a part of the large central square is turned into one big barbecue frenzy. An absolute must see.

The lake is the biggest reservoir lake in Morocco and essential for the agricultural sector and electricity supply in th region.

Although it's well possible to stay outside campsites in Morocco, a campsite in this part of the world can be a nice change for a bit of privacy in Northern Morocco.
