Military airfield Brand - Briesen

The former military airfield Brand - Briesen was created round 1938 as a pilot training center. After WWII the place was converted to a huge military base by the Russians with several russian bomber squads from 1954. When the russians left in 1992, the company CargoLifter bought the huge place and built the Airship Hangar.

The place is still littered with bunkers and largely deteriorated buildings.
