The Cabril Reservoir near Pedrogao Grande in Coimbra Portugal

Build during the rule of Oliveira Salazar, the Cabril Reservoir finished in 1954, forms a 55 Km long man-made lake. Located in the centre of Portugal on the IC8 highway it’s an easy get-away for those looking for a quiet place.

A must see for every-one visiting Santiago de Compostela, the local market - Mercado de Abastos - at Praza de Abastos. This bustling market breathes local culture and customs. Same as for the starting point of the famous pilgrims trail - the GR65 - Santiago de Compostela has a remarkable local cheese as well - Titty Cheese!

With the 660 Km A8 / E70 coastal highway almost finished up to La Coruna in Galicia, almost the entire coastline comes within a day’s drive from France. And most provinces along the highway seem to have been preparing for that.

La Tourelle - Saint Jean by GALTIER in St Jean de Luz - France

A remarkable building photographed by many on the main boulevard in St Jean de Luz in the Basque region of France. Yet, there's no trace of it on the Internet other than non-descriptive pictures on Google Earth. Have a look - who knows it's history?
