Portugal has quite a few rural airfields for ultralight aircrafts and remote controlled airplanes (UAV, Drones). Since October 2009 there is a new ultralight airfield near the biggest reservoir lake in Portugal. An impression of the airstrip just outside Campinho village in the southern Alentejo province.

South of the biggest reservoir lake in Portugal – the Alqueva Lake – a deserted old railroad line runs through the Alentejo landscape connecting Beja with Moura.
