The Garmin Dezl navigator for trucks, large motorhomes, RV's and campervans comes with a MicroSD card slot. The Garmin Dezl owners manual doesn't really clarify the use of this memory card slot. A first hand - hands-on impression of this memory expansion feature.

The Garmin Dezl comes with a free trial of speed camera locations by Cyclops. However for those in countries with a language not listed on the Garmin website the free trail doesn't work of the shelf. Here's what to do to activate the free speed camera trial for 1 month.

The Garmin Dezl comes with a free nüMap map update within 90 days after purchase. Maps can be updated online nowadays - the near 3Gb download isn't a problem for most with 24 hour internet access. But the large 3Gb map file can cause unsuspected disk space problems. Here's work around to update Garmin maps when disk space is tight.
