Built by the French in 1929 and known as Morocco’s Switzerland, the wintersport resort Ifrane is now a popular destination for the Moroccan’s. Located at 1.650 meters. Ifrane could well be located in the Alps. Here’s another look at Ifrane, real-estate and property development projects in the style as we saw in Dubai-UAE, though on a modest scale.

The Bin el Ouidane reservoir lake in the Atlas mountains, about 150 Km east of Marrakech is known for it’s big carp fishing - a great get-a-way from summer heat in a mountainous scenery. The lake is the biggest reservoir lake in Morocco and essential for the agricultural sector and electricity supply in th region.

Morocco has many campsites, it's an industry on itself for the motorized tourist, traveler or visitor with for example motorhome, RV's, Camper Van as well as for Moroccans during their holidays. Although it's well possible to stay outside campsites in Morocco, a campsite in this part of the world can be a nice change for a bit of privacy in Northern Morocco.
