When travelling with pets long enough at some point in time a visit to a local veterinarian comes allong. Yearly inoculations, accidents, health checks for border crossings, topping up medication or just to find out where to buy dog / pet food. In our travels in Asia we’ve gathered a few addresses of vets, pharmacies and places to buy dog food.  The list you find here is not complete by far but can be a help when planning to visit a vet in Turkey, India, Pakistan or Nepal. In all finding a veterinarian isn’t really difficult in Asia. Having pets is surely on the rise specially in middle and upper class families in Turkey, Pakistan, India and Nepal. Vets for cattle and life-stock have sometimes expanded to treating animal pets too. Some have started a clinic to treat pets only. Here you find our list of vets, pharmacies and places where to buy dog food. In case you find additional info, mistakes or anything, send it to us and we’ll update this list. Erzurum – Turkey Notes :: Government Cattle and Life-stock vets has an English speaking vet. In august 2006 hard to find to bridge the language barrier. On the left side of the road there’s an unmarked government clinic just before the road to right towards the tourist information centre. Notes :: This place treats cattle and life-stock. Dogfood is hard to get in Almora. Best is to order / buy stock in Dehli.
