One month @ our wintercamp
Sunday, 26 February 2006
It's now one month since we've moved to our wintercamp. Living in a truck on  5,5 x 2,3 meter is all about getting used to less space. In wintertime with all doors & windows closed and too cold to stay outside too long it's a pretty good test of what our life will be in the coming years.

Now with a bit of routine we're quite used to our new living space. However it didn't come easy.
With freezing weather, rain, snow, wind and humidity going up and down from 35 % to 85 % it's quite an energetic environment. Water suddenly condensing on every cold metal object with temperature drops, instant heat wave inside when the outside temperature goes up to a whopping 10 degrees in winter!
We've had it all, and everything including ourselves seem to cope.

With the weather on the background, the paperwork to be done is piling up even with our frantic efforts to reduce it. The coming month (march 2006) will all be about tying up the last loose ends.

Springtime can come, however we expect winter to produce a last cold spell, just to remind us about how welcome a cool breeze can be when hot humid weather fills up our 5,5 x 2,3 meter living space.
